It is insulating paper and aluminum /copper foil tape composite material, used in transformer and reactor as earth shielding, static shielding and conductive layer between winding coils to reduce loss, partial discharge and improve electric field distributing and insulating effectiveness.

The appearance should be smooth, no air bubbles, crepe and impurity. Basis paper should be composite with foil tightly, no delamination free of sawtooth and burr at the edge of foil.
